About Beth York
Beth has been helping buyers and sellers in Cambridge and the Greater Boston area for many years. She is a strong force in the real estate because she blends “high tech” with “high touch” seamlessly, and applies the golden rule to her business practices. Matching buyers with the right properties, and sellers with qualified buyers is at the core of what Beth does best. How? She listens, she cares.
Beth York earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (magna cum laude), from Northeastern University.
Prior to becoming a real estate consultant, Beth excelled in the highly competitive field of broadcast television production, and worked for years in marketing/project management, public relations and advertising. This powerful mix of experience and unique combination of skills is what that sets her apart from other agents.

Outside the Office...
Recreational and Competitive Sports
Outside the office, she is a competitive, accomplished skydiver (and instructor),
setting a world record in 2005 for largest all-woman formation skydive
(151 women), raising more than a half million dollars for breast cancer
(www.jumpforthecause.com).
Beth enjoys many other outdoor sports like snowboarding and running with her dog Belle. But the running joke is that if a sport requires a helmet, you can be sure Beth has tried it, or soon will!
Music
Beth is also a musician. For eight years she played trombone and at one time considered attending Berklee College of Music. Even though the demand for female trombonists remains strong, Beth opted to attend Northeastern University, electing to rock the bass guitar in her new band "Mixed Signals".
Though currently not in a band, she formerly played bass guitar and provided the backing vocals in the all-girl Boston rock band "Tootsie". The band recorded a self-titled CD and Beth produced and directed a rock video to accompany the CD. The band was influenced by the 80's hair bands, and of course the Go Go's. Her 4th grade trombone teacher and high school marching band were proud to learn she carried the her love of music (and stage antics) beyond school.
It was in the band Tootsie, at a the local club "The Lizard Lounge' where she met her husband, Matt, lead singer and guitarist for "Wide Iris".
